Throughout his career, Dr. Guy Abraham has undertaken extensive research into nutrition, chemistry, biochemistry, and the properties of minerals (silicates, iodine, magnesium, gold and silver in particular). He has published many papers on all aspects of nutrition. This extensive research lead Dr. Abraham to incorporate Optimox in 1978 as an outlet to share the positive results of his experimentation.

One of Dr. Abraham’s most important developments is Iodoral® – a more convenient, tablet form of Lugol’s solution with various dosages of iodine and iodide. As a counter to the gastric irritation which is commonly experienced from iodine supplementation, Dr. Abraham invented a colloidal silica excipient, patented as Micosolle®. His formulations and inventions, with the help of the rest of the Optimox team, have aided in the health and well-being of countless people over the course of decades!
