All-Natural Moisturizing and Cleansing Hair Care
The most popular and perhaps the most effective usage for Castor Oil is for support of a full and healthy head of hair. It is widely thought that Castor Oil may be applied to hair as a means for supporting hair growth. Its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties may also be helpful for clearing up other hair care issues like dandruff and scalp infections. The moisturization and nourishment provided by this natural oil when thoroughly lathered in the hair may also relieve dry and frayed hair. These all-natural patches also contain onion extract for further hair growth support.
Castor Oil Immune Support Properties
While Castor Oil is widely known for its cosmetic support properties, such as hair care, skincare, and scar removal, it is even more important and scientifically validated for its potential to support various aspects of the immune system. This support is achieved by the potential ability of Ricinoleic Acid, the active ingredient of Castor Oil, to increase the production of T-11 lymphocytes, also referred to as T-cells.1 These T-cells are some of the most important natural agents for assisting white blood cells in the elimination and neutralization of a variety of harmful bodily invaders.
In addition to aiding in the production of T-cells in the thymus, the Ricinoleic Acid which is found exclusively in Castor Oil may possess antibiotic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties of its own!2 In particular, topical application of ricinoleic acid via Castor Oil packs may provide anti-inflammatory relief to specific parts of the body including sore joints, skin rashes, and even the abdominal area of women who are experiencing pain post menstrual cramps.
A proprietary blend of organic castor oil, onion extract and organic essential oils.
If hair is plentiful, shave area where CastorPatch is to be applied. CastorPatch gel should be a cold gel when applied, keep in refrigerator until you are ready to apply. Put 1-2 tbs onto the center of the patch being careful not to get any gel within 1 inch of the edge of the patch. Apply the patch from the bottom up. This is because the last part of the patch applied is more likely to have folds than the first part so if you don’t apply a patch perfectly, gravity will pull the gel downwards away from an imperfect seal. Do not smooth gel over the patch but leave it as a mound in the center. Do not touch the edges with oily fingers. Any gel on the edges will cause seal failure. Place over abdomen with the belly slightly pulled inwards. This will cause the patch to stretch outwards when you relax improving the seal. Stretch patch outwards as you apply. Any folds can cause the oil to leak. Do not smooth from the center outwards or oil will get into the adhesive and the seal will fail. A good seal can stay for hours. Do not try to reapply another patch if it fails. The residual oil will keep the next patch from adhering. If the seal is not perfect, you can still use the patch, just lay down and press on any leaking edge with a rolled up paper towel.
Note: Keep refrigerated and apply as cold gel.
