Part XI – Men’s & Women’s Health

In this week’s blog, featuring men’s and women’s health, we close out the series of our course detailing the “11 essentials” to a healthy supplemental regimen. We’ll continue to discard most of the medical jargon and be sure to lay out what an optimal supplement routine looks like. Our curriculum has covered the 11 areas that are most critical for treatment on a bi-weekly, session by session basis. Our focus areas are as follows:

  1. Multivitamins
  2. Omega – 3 Fatty Acids
  3. Coenzyme Q10
  4. Mitochondrial Function
  5. Hormone Balance (DHEA)
  6. Brain Function
  7. Bone Health
  8. Neural and Hepatic Health
  9. Vitamin D Levels
  10. Vitamin K
  11. Men’s & Women’s Health

Session 11: Men’s & Women’s Health:

Your ideal supplement routine will probably be vastly different from mine, especially if you are a woman. Men and women require different combinations of supplements in comparison with each-other, as different conditions or diseases are more gender specific.

When it comes to men’s health, the prostate should be one of the first things you would be concerned with as you grow older. You want your prostate to maintain a healthy function, or a variety of issues can arise, an example being prostate cancer! The problem with most supplements that would assist you in caring for your prostate is that they are poorly absorbed when taken orally. Some compounds are in the range of less than 6% absorption. Fortunately, you can approach an absorption level over 10 times greater if you use a suppository like Zetpil’s Prostaflow Plus. This suppository features many benefits to help improve your prostate health, such as potent herbals and vitamin D3, which research has indicated give your body help in the fight against the formation of prostate cancer!

For women, menopause is something you experience that can have its symptoms lessened with the proper supplementation routine. A fantastic organic and natural approach for relief of symptoms like hot flashes is Metagenics Estrovera, which has demonstrated in several clinical studies to reduce many symptoms of menopause, as shown in the graph below. Who wouldn’t want help with sleep disturbances, physical and emotional exhaustion, and joint and muscle complaints that the ingredients found in this supplement have shown to help relieve?

Of course there are a few supplements that benefit both men’s and women’s health, as they support gender neutral issues such as immune system functions, bone and nerve function, as well as muscle function and more. As we continue evolving our industrial and farming methods, trace minerals are lost in our food and some of the nutritional value is lost. Drucker Labs IntraMAX all in one supplement can help you regain these minerals that are typically lost, and many have found it to benefit their overall health as you can see by the reviews through the link.

We hope you enjoyed our 11 essentials series! We are glad we could share our recommendations with you, and hope we can continue to be a helpful resource for your nutritional needs. As always, if you have specific concerns or conditions, we at DR Vitamin Solutions would be happy to make more specific supplement recommendations to complement your basic foundation.
