Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas found naturally in low concentrations in the earth’s atmosphere. It doesn’t react with most compounds, but is found in one very common and life sustaining substance: water. Naturally occurring water is composed of 2 parts oxygen and 1 part hydrogen (abbreviated chemically as H2O), and while water in itself is good for you it doesn’t contain enough hydrogen to have major effects.
